Compete the following steps in the order listed until the issue is resolved:
  1. Log onto the computer or server with a Windows account that has the sysadmin role in SQL Server and run the F9 Configuration Utility again.
  2. If using Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 or Windows Server 2008 R2 operating systems, then right-click on the F9 Configuration Utility and choose Run As Administrator
  3. Ensure that the password for the SA account is correct by connecting to the SQL Server instance using the SA account in SQL Management Studio
