Try each of the following steps in order until the issue is resolved:

For Windows Operating Systems:

    • Switch to the Citrix Universal Print Driver and attempt to print the envelopes. You will be prompted to choose which printer you would like to print to after clicking the Print button from the Preview of the envelopes.
    • From within The Raiser's Edge, select File> Print Setup from the top menu bar, and select the correct default printer.  If this does not resolve the error or The Raiser's Edge does not retain the printer selection in Print Setup, Exit and sign out of The Raiser's Edge on the workstation in question.
    • Change the default printer on the workstation to a different printer temporarily.  Exit and Sign out of RE, then login once more to re-select the correct printer as the default.
    • Log into The Raiser's Edge and go to File> Print Setup and select the correct default printer
    • Attempt to print/preview
    • Reboot the workstation
    • Update the printer driver
     

    For Macintosh (MAC) Operating Systems:

      • Confirm the correct network printer is selected when using a MAC 
      • Attempt to print/preview
      • From the the mail parameter for the envelopes, select File> Print Setup
      • In the Name field, select the option for Microsoft XPS Document Writer and adjust the other settings (such as paper size as needed)
      • Click OK
      • Click Preview to view the results
      • Click the Export button on the toolbar 
      • In the Format drop-down, select Microsoft Word 97-2003. Leave the Destination option as Disk File.

      Note: This will export a Word document (it will not print from RE).

      • Select the location to save the files.  Open the file outside of RE and select to print outside of Raiser's Edge and the hosted environment to the correct printer.
