This means the Blackbaud Sphere Connector plug-in is missing.  This can be confirmed by going to Start>All Programs.  If Blackbaud Sphere Connector is not listed, the Connector is not installed.

The plug-in must be installed on every workstation, while the plug-in and service must be installed on the server.

If you are self-hosted:

In order to download the Connector:

  1. Go to http://downloads.blackbaud.com
  2. Log into your www.Blackbaud.com account if requested
  3. On the list of available product downloads, select "The Raiser’s Edge Sphere Connector"
  4. Choose the appropriate link to begin the download
  5. Click Save and choose a location to save the file
  6. Once the download is completed, navigate to the file in the save location and run it on the appropriate workstations and server.
