To set NTFS permissions as required for Blackbaud products, you can download and run PermFlashNTFS.
PermFlashNTFS is an application designed to automatically set NTFS permissions, as required, for Blackbaud version 7 products. Using a simple Wizard interface, it detects the location of selected Blackbaud products and then configures NTFS rights to those locations. NOTE: If you are running this utility on an operating system that has User Account Control (UAC) enabled such as Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows Server 2012, then right-click on The PermFlashNTFS application and select "Run as administrator".
