How to report on both Custom Event fields and Custom Profile fields

Custom Event fields, unlike Custom Profile fields, are fairly limited in what reports they can be included on. They can only be included in reports run directly from the initiative, form, or event, on which they were used.   This covers questions about how to a report on both custom fields

Note: Custom Event Fields are not available for reporting in the People: All Teams report.
If you are reporting on a Kintera Thon: 
  1. Navigate to Communities > Special Events > Friends Asking Friends > Kintera Thon.
  2. Hover over your initiative and select Reports
  3. Select a report from the dropdown list. 
  4. Click Run Report.
  5. Click Next.
  6. Select the Custom Fields tab.
  7. Mark the box beside your custom fields.
  8. Click Finish.
  9. Click Run Report.
If you are reporting on a Single Step Donation or Registration Form:
  1. Navigate to Communities > Forms 
  2. Select either Single Step Donation or Registration Form.
  3. Hover over your initiative and select Reports.
  4. Select a report from the dropdown list.
  5. Click Run Report.
  6. Click Next. 
  7. Select the Custom Fields tab.
  8. Mark the boxes beside your desired custom fields. 
  9. Click Finish.
  10. Click Run Report.
