The BBMS credentials are incorrect in the Account Configuration that is being used to process the refund or transaction.  The Account Configurations are listed in the Account Management section of the Web Portal.  The Account Configuration can be refreshed to allow refunds and transactions to process via the Virtual Terminal.
  1. Log into the BBMS Web Portal at
  2. Click Account Management > General settings
  3. Locate Account Configurations
  4. Click the ellipses next to the Account Configuration and select Edit
  5. Make no changes and click Save
  6. Repeat for any available Account Configurations
  7. Attempt the refund or transaction again after all Account Configurations have been opened and saved
