Create a Volunteer Center

  1. Select Communities > Volunteer Centers.
  2. Click New to create a new event.
  3. Complete the information within the fields. The information included may be available within the Web site and confirmation pages so should be suitable for public viewing.
  4. Associate any related Web site in which you want to display this Volunteer Center by selecting the Web site from the drop down.

Manage a Volunteer Center

  1. Select Communities > Volunteer Centers.
  2. Highlight the Volunteer Center you wish to manage and select Manage Center.
  3. The administrative area will appear with tabs that allow management of your Volunteer Center.

To add volunteer positions

  1. Select Communities > Volunteer Centers.
  2. Highlight the Volunteer Center and select Manage Center.
  3. Select the Volunteer Center tab.
  4. Click New.
  5. Complete all required fields.
  6. Click Save.
    • You can also associate preferred Skill you want Volunteers to possess, select category of Interests that the Position supports, and designate general Availability for when volunteers can participate or serve.
    • Local positions need volunteers to participate in person at a location. Virtual positions allow volunteers to participate from virtually anywhere, they do not need to be present at a location. Both local and virtual positions can be featured and spotlighted to gain more awareness from volunteers.
View existing Registrants and Register New Volunteers
View who has signed up for a position in the Volunteer Positions tab under Administer. You can also enter a new volunteer for a particular position within this section.  Each registrant will receive an on screen confirmation.
