How to reset the Supervisor password in Blackbaud NetCommunity

Blackbaud programs have a default Supervisor user with full rights. We recommend you change the Supervisor password to ensure security. If the Supervisor account is locked or if you have forgotten the password, it can be reset depending on your environment. For security purposes, only primary contacts, site administrators, and training administrators are authorized to reset the password or request a password reset.
If Blackbaud hosts your NetCommunity database:
  1. Contact another supervisor user to reset your password. If this is not possible, please continue with step 2.
  2. Ensure you are listed as a primary contact, site administrator, or training administrator on your organizations product record.
  3. Click Chat with Support and reference this article.
  4. The support analyst will verify your role in the organization and send an email to you with instructions to authorize this request.
If Blackbaud does not host your NetCommunity database:
  1. Contact another supervisor user to reset your password. If this is not possible, please continue with step 2.
  2. Ensure you are listed as a primary contact, site administrator, or training administrator on your organizations product record.
  3. Click Chat with Support and reference this article.
