First, ensure that the Friendly URL option is enabled in the event:
  1. Navigate to Communities > Special Events > Friends Asking Friends > Build Your Own Event (Custom FAF)
  2. Click on the event name
  3. Select the Configure tab
  4. Selec the Registration subtab
  5. Click Advanced Options
  6. Under "Friendly URLs: Allow Friendly URLs for personal and team pages," mark Yes
  7. Click Save
Next, assign a Friendly URL as the default link for your individual and team search pages in your CMS site:
  1. Navigate to Content > Content Management System 
  2. Hover over the associated CMS site and select Manage Website 
  3. Select the Content Management tab
  4. Select the Site Structure subtab
  5. Beside Site Structure, click Folder View
  6. Click on the Participant Search tool
  7. Select the Advanced tab
  8. Expand Link Options
  9. Add the desired Friendly URL
  10. Set the Default
  11. Click OK
  12. Repeat steps 4-9 for the Team Search tool
