To find the obligation number and date(s):

If the obligation has not been paid:

  1. From Accounts Payable, click Open, select the Invoice folder, and notate the obligation number and the Last Business Date.

If the obligation has been paid:

  1. From Accounts Payable, click on Inquiry.
  2. Select Check for Category.
  3. Type the check number in the First Value and Last Value.
  4. Click on Run.
  5. In the Inquiry - Check Pick List screen, double-click on the check number.
  6. Notate the obligation number in the Check display screen.
  7. From Accounts Payable, click on Inquiry.
  8. Select Obligations for Category.
  9. Type the obligation number in the first Value and Last Value.
  10. Click on Run.
  11. In the Inquiry - Obligation List, double-click on the obligation number.
  12. In the Obligation View screen, select the Revision History tab.
  13. Notate the Post Date range for this obligation.

To find the batch number, run the Transaction Sorted by Reference report:

  1. Open the Report Manager.
  2. Select General Ledger for Module.
  3. Select Transaction Reports for Category.
  4. Click on the CSREFTR Transactions Sorted by Reference report to highlight.
  5. Click on Produce.
  6. Type in the date range for this obligation.
  7. Unmark Ref range and type the obligation number in both fields.
  8. Click OK.
  9. Notate the batch number(s) created when this obligation posted.

To run the Transaction Log report:

  1. Open the Report Manager.
  2. Select General Ledger for Module.
  3. Select Transaction Reports for Category.
  4. Click on CSTRANS Transaction Log to highlight.
  5. Click on Produce.
  6. Type in the date range for this obligation.
  7. Click on OK.
  8. Review the column Posted By for the user who posted the invoice and/or paid the obligation.
