Prerequisites to install SQL Server 2005 Backward Compatibility:
  1. Review system requirements:
    • FundWare - Terminal Server Professional
    • FundWare - Standalone Server Professional
  2. If upgrading FundWare, contact Support to request your 7.60 registration number.
  3. Blackbaud recommends SQL Server 2008 is installed
To install SQL Server 2005 Backward Compatibility, follow these steps: 
  1. Browse to the SQL Server 2008 Backwards Compatibility install directory. Double-click SQLServer2008_BC.msi
    - Default location is ...InstallSQL 2008 - ExpressSQL Server 2008 Backwards Compatibility
  2. Double-click SQLServer2008_BC.msi to launch installation
  3. On the Welcome to the Install Wizard screen and click Next
  4. On the Setup License Terms screen, mark the “I accept the licensing terms and conditions” checkbox and click Next
  5. On the Registration Information screen enter your Name and Company and click Next
  6. On the Feature Selection screen and click Next
  7. On the Ready to Install the Program screen and click Install
  8. On the Completing Setup screen and click Finish
