While media files up to 5MB can be added to your CMS file library, it is recommended that you host these types of media files on an external site such as YouTube or Wikiupload. As Blackbaud Sphere is not a streaming media provider, we cannot guarantee a high-quality streaming media experience. Most of these third-party providers will provide you with the neccessary HTML code to add or embed the file into a webpage. If neccessary, you can also find tutorials on sites such as w3schools.com that will assist in creating this code.

Once you have the appropriate HTML code:

  1. Navigate to Content > Content Management System
  2. Manage your website
  3. Click on Content Management > Site Structure > Folder view
  4. Locate and click on the desired webpage
  5. Click on the Content tab
  6. Switch to HTML mode
  7. Insert/paste the code
  8. Mark the checkbox next to Publish Immediately and click OK
Note: The same HTML code can also be placed in initiatives such as Kintera Thons, Donation Forms, and Registration Forms, via the Webinfo Checklist > Front Page Customization or Form Layout options.
