An administrator may find a situation where the Connector completed a sync and the administrator linked two records. Whether these records were linked together incorrectly, or have since been merged, the links can be broken or edited manually without having to sync again by completing the steps below.
In order to unlink two accounts that were linked incorrectly during a Connector Synch, you will need to make one change in Raiser's Edge and one change in Sphere.
In Raiser's Edge
1. Open the incorrectly linked account 2. Go to the Attributes tab 3. In the Attribute for SphereConstituentIdentifer, remove the value under Description 4. Click Save and Close
1. Go to Contacts > Individuals 2. Search for the account that was linked incorrectly 3. Hover over Manage and click Manage Contact 4. Click the Profile tab 5. Click the Custom Fields sub-tab 6. Click Edit 7. Remove the value from the re_system_identifier field 8. Click Save
