Try each of the following in order until the issue is resolved.

If comments are missing in FAWeb and you're using version 7.83 or higher: 
  1. Log into FAWeb as the teacher and go to Gradebook. 
  2. Verify the marking column the comments were entered in has been selected in the drop down menu.
  3. Log into FAWeb as Supervisor and select Edit marking column access rights for faculty from the Setup menu.
  4. Verify the marking column the comments were entered in is viewable.
  5. Clear the server cache.

If comments are missing in FAWeb and you're using version 7.82 or lower: 
  1. Log into FAWeb as the teacher and go to Gradebook. 
  2. Verify the marking column the comments were entered in has been selected in the drop down menu.
  3. Log into FAWeb as Supervisor and select Setup, Marking Columns.
  4. Verify the marking column the comments were entered in is viewable.
  5. Clear the server cache.

If comments are missing in Registrar's Office: 
  1. From the Grades page in The Education Edge, Click Enter Grades by Teacher, Course, or Student
  2. Select the drop down for Show:
  3. Make sure one of the options including Comments is selected
  4. Go to Records, Courses and open the course for which the comments are missing.
  5. Click the Grading tab and Ensure there's an Academic Year present for the year in question.  Enter New Grading Information if none exists.
  6. Open the Academic Year from the Grading tab and verify the Graded checkbox is marked next to the marking Column(s) in question
  7. Save the Grading information and the record

Note: If the Graded checkbox was unchecked after grades or comments were entered, the following message will appear:
At this point, any Grades or Comments will need to be re-entered after re-checking the box to allow them.  Alternatively, a Restore from the appropriate date can bring the comments back.
