For Blackbaud Hosted clients, try the following until resolved:
  1. If the merge completed once already, make sure the previous output file of the same name is closed before trying the merge again.
  2. Remove all unnecessary files from the Files Folder to free up additional space and then export again. The Files Folder has 100 MB size limit per hosting user; delete files the affected user created to free up space.
  3. Save to a different folder within the Files Folder.
  4. Save directly to your local Desktop.


For clients whose data is not hosted by Blackbaud, try the following until resolved:

  1. If the merge completed once already, make sure the previous output file of the same name is closed before trying the merge again.
  2. Save the data to a different drive (for example, instead of saving it to the C drive, try the F drive) or place the document on a Flash drive.  
  3. For assistance freeing space from a particular local or network drive, reach out to your IT department.
