When clicking Layout, Print or Preview in report parameters, users may receive an error: Automation error: The object invoked has disconnected from its clients. This error may occur due to corrupt program files on the workstation, a corrupt Windows profile, or a corrupt RE user account.
Try the following steps in order until the issue is resolved:
1. Preview the report on a different workstation, under the same Windows and Raiser's Edge logins. If the error continues to occur, proceed to step 2. If the error does not occur, run an update/repair on the affected workstation.
2. Preview the report when logged in under a different Windows account on the same workstation. If the error continues to occur, proceed to step 3. If the error does not occur, recreate the user's Windows profile or create a new one.
