Try the following steps in order until the issue is resolved:

1.  Preview the report on a different workstation, under the same Windows and Raiser's Edge logins.  If the error continues to occur, proceed to step 2.   If the error does not occur, run an update/repair on the affected workstation.

2.  Preview the report when logged in under a different Windows account on the same workstation.  If the error continues to occur, proceed to step 3.   If the error does not occur, recreate the user's Windows profile or create a new one.

3.  Preview the report when logged in under a different Raiser's Edge user account.  If the error does not occur, create a new Raiser's Edge user account.  If considering deleting the old user account afterwards, please review What to consider before deleting a user name and what information is lost when deleting a user?
