If the posting type for a budget journal is set to Actual Entries, FundWare will make this journal balance.  Once activity is posted to a journal, the posting type cannot be changed and a new journal will need to be created.

1. In General Ledger, click on Maintenance, Journals, New.
2. Give the new journal a name and description.
3. Select the appropriate posting type (budget type 1 or budget type 2).
4. Click Apply to save the new Journal.
