1. Add the new attribute in Configuration, Attributes.  For example, enter Additional Affiliations for the Attribute type.
2. In the Data Type field, select Table from the drop-down menu.
3. Select the existing Affiliation table
4. In Records, open the appropriate record, select the Attributes tab, and enter the appropriate descriptions for the attribute/record


1. Open the faculty record and click the Bio 2 tab.
2. In the Department/Position section, create a department entry called Board Member.
3. Add the department to each record that should have the affiliation.

Note: Attributes are defined by Record Type in Configuration, Attributes.  If this information is needed on both Individuals and Faculty/Staff, be sure to set up the new attribute under both record types in Configuration.
