When posting a Raiser's Edge batch that appears in General Ledger, Error: General ODBC Error: [Microsoft][ODBCSQL Server Driver]Communication link failure. Native error 0 appears.

If your organization integrates multiple Blackbaud products, refer to the Additional Requirements section of the backup solution. These instructions apply to The Education Edge and Blackbaud Student Information System and the SQL Server versions of The Raiser's Edge and The Financial Edge.

  • This utility checks data integrity. You should run this as part of a system check before major changes, such as before a hardware or software upgrade, or after a hardware failure. Blackbaud recommends you check data integrity weekly and if you suspect any problems with the system.
  1. Open the Blackbaud Management Console (Blackbaud Management Console)
  2. Select the appropriate database
  3. Click Maintenance
  4. Click Check Integrity
