Google acquired reCAPTCHA and has recently made changes that may affect Blackbaud NetCommunity clients. reCAPTCHA originally required the Blackbaud NetCommunity web server accept traffic from three IP addresses. Now, the Blackbaud NetCommunity web server must accept traffice from many IP addresses from Google’s servers. If traffic from these IP addresses is not accepted, any feature in Blackbaud NetCommunity that makes use of reCAPTCHA will not work successfully (e.g., donations).
