From the Form/Event: 

  1. Navigate to Communities > Forms > Single Step Donation or Communities > Special Events > Friends Asking Friends > Kintera Thon  
  2. Hover over the event name and select Bookkeeping 
  3. Click Pending Scheduled Payments 
  4. Search for the donor name 
  5. Click Detail next to their name 
  6. In the pop-up window, update the credit card information 
  7. Scroll down & click Update Payment Information

From the Contact Record:
  1. Navigate to Contacts > Individuals 
  2. Search for the contact name 
  3. Click Manage 
  4. Select the Financial tab 
  5. Select the Transactions subtab 
  6. Hover over the blue Transaction ID that pertains to the recurring payment (should say Payment under Gift Type) and click Manage.
  • At the top of the page, it will say: "This Payment can be edited through the initiative where it was entered. Select this link to be redirected to the initiative." 
  • Click the word "link". 
You are now in the Bookkeeping screen or the form/event. 
  1. Click Pending Scheduled Payments under the Pending Transactions heading 
  2. Search for the donor name 
  3. Click Detail next to their name 
  4. Within the pop-up window, update the credit card information. 
  5. Scroll down and click Update Payment Information


Note: Within this window you can also 'retry' any failed payments due to incorrect credit card number.
Note: You cannot change the payment schedule of the recurring gift. For example, you cannot change it from "Monthly" to "Quarterly"
