Troubleshooting steps:
  1. Close out of the Crystal Reports application. Open the Task Manager and go to the Processes tab. Look for the crw32.exe process. If it exists, end all instances of the process. Try opening the Crystal report again.
  2. There is a field/formula/summary in the Crystal reports that is not compatible with the Blackbaud software.  It will require trial and error of deleting fields and running report to determine which field is causing the issue.
  3. The report was originally created in Crystal 8.5 but it is currently being used in Crystal XI. Change the table joins to Left Outer Join (BB339584)
  4. Select  Database > Perform Grouping on Server to unmark this option
