Try each of the following steps in order until the issue is resolved:

1. Ensure all batches are set to displaying in the Batch module

  • Click on Batch in the left menu.
  • At the top of the screen, make sure Type is set to <All Types> and Display is <All Formats>.
  • Below the list of batches, unmark Only show my batches and Only show batches not committed.

2. Click on each folder (General and below) to see if any are listed within that folder. (Note: Deleting a folder / category will move any batches in that folder / category to the General. It will not delete them.)

3. Search for batches:

  • Click on Batch in the left menu.
  • Click the binoculars beside Quick Find in the lower right.
  • In the new search window at the bottom, unmark Exact match only, Display only open batches, and Include for bank deposit.
  • Also in the new search window at the bottom, mark Display recurring batches.
  • Click Find to see if any batches list.
  • Enter a number or other terms to refine the search as needed.

4. If some batches list, but one/some are missing, check to see if the batch is deleted:

  • Open any batch and go to Tools > Edit batch setup, or start a new batch.
  • In the batch setup on the Batch Header tab, locate the Batch number field and click - an i in a blue circle button at the far right
  • In new search window at the bottom, unmark Exact match only, Display only open batches, and Include for bank deposit. Then mark Display recurring batches.
  • Click Find to see if any batches list.
  • Enter a number or other terms to refine the search as needed. A deleted batch will appear in the results with #Deleted# in the Batch Description column. (Note: A deleted batch number cannot be re-used. Deleting a batch does not delete gifts already committed on constituent records.)

5. If only recent batches cannot be found but older ones are present:

  • Search for deleted batches following step 4.
  • If they are deleted, start a new gift batch.
  • Go to File > Commit.
  • On the General tab, confirm if the Delete batch after committing checkbox is marked. If this is the case, the batch commit remembers the settings for a user from their last batch commit. So on the next batch this user commits, be sure this setting is unmarked so that setting is remembered.

6. If batches are still missing, review the following:
