The Prospect Research Request email alerts require specific scenarios to work successfully.  Ensure the below requirements are met before testing your email alerts:

 1. The requested by user cannot be blank

2. The submitted by user can be blank OR can be filled out but must be different than the requested by user

3. The requested by user cannot be the user creating/updating the item within the application

An example of how to test this email alert:
1. User A adds a research request to user B Fundraiser tab
2. User B goes to his prospect research page and sees the research request
3. User B clicks Change stats, assigned
4. Assigns the request to anyone other than himself (that is an assigned user for the email alert)
5. The assignee will get the email alert
