To fix this issue, get everyone out of Fundware and logon the server.
Ensure there is a good FundWare backup.  Make a backup in Division Maintenance if there is no current backup.

Open DOS by selecting Start > Run and typing in "CMD" and click OK.

At the DOS prompt, type in: osql -E <Hit Enter> (Note: this is case sensitive and there is a space between osql and -E)

At the 1> prompt, type in: use afwcore <Hit Enter>
At the 2> prompt, type in: go <Hit Enter>

At the 1> prompt, type in: delete from central <Hit Enter>
At the 2> prompt, type in: go <Hit Enter>
(You will be told how many rows are affected. This could take awhile depending on how many rows there are in the Central table)

At the 1> prompt, type in: update instance set instanceid=1 <Hit Enter>
At the 2> prompt, type in: go <Hit Enter>
You will be told "1 row affected"

At the 1> prompt, type in: delete from cn_userpreference <Hit Enter>
At the 2> prompt, type in: go <Hit Enter>
(You will be told how many rows are affected)

Exit DOS by typing "EXIT" and pressing ENTER to exit from osql and again to exit DOS. Launch Fundware and perform the task(s) again that generated the error in the first place.
