Error: User '[username]' is already logged in on machine '[machine name]' when logging into or performing any function within the RE mobile app

Users may receive the error: User '[username]' is already logged in on machine '[machine name]' on their mobile device when they are either logging into or performing any function within the RE mobile app.  This can occur if they happen to be logged into their Raiser's Edge database locally.
The user will need to log out of, or be disconnected from The Raiser's Edge in order to access the mobile app.  A user name cannot be logged into both at the same time:
  • If the user has access to a machine where they can access their Raiser's Edge database: Exit and Sign Out of The Raiser's Edge
  • If the user does not have access to a machine where they can access their Raiser's Edge database:
    • Request for an administrator at the organization to disconnect your session via the Blackbaud Management Console
    • If Blackbaud hosts your database, contact Support to request to be disconnected from the database.
