This problem typically occurs when the configuration for the Phone Type has not been completed in The Raiser's Edge where either no selection or the wrong selection has been made.

Steps to resolve are as follows:
  1. In The Raiser's Edge, go to Config > Tables
  2. Click on Phone Types
  3. Highlight the affected field and click Open
  4. Select the correct phone number type
  5. Click OK to save
  6. Return to NetCommunity and refresh the code tables (Administration > Code Tables > Refresh code tables)
  7. Complete phone type mapping
