VIP: High likelihood, High capacity.
This group has the highest likelihood and capacity to give. Therefore, these are the constituents you want to spend the most time with and more than likely are your major gift prospects.
FAN: High likelihood, Low capacity
This group includes your most loyal supporters and tend to give on an annual basis. You will also likely see your highest scoring non-donors in this quadrant, and these are the ones you want to focus on getting and acquiring them to give for the first time.
Long Shot: Low likelihood, High capacity
This group includes very wealthy constituents, but they may not have any ties to your organization. These are like the 'Oprah Winfreys'. For example, we know Oprah is very wealthy, but she may not have any connection to your organization and therefore may not be very likely to give.
Acquaintance: Low likelihood, Low capacity
These constituents have the lowest capacity to give and are also the least likely to give to your organization. Therefore, we recommend to minimize your investment on this group.
