When opening older records, Raiser's Edge will scan each address to ensure that there is a dash before the +4 of the zip codes and add it where needed.  Often, this is the change to the record that is needing to be saved when this message appears.

To prevent this message, update the formatting of all zip codes in the database to include the dash by performing the following steps:
  1. Click Admin > Globally Change Records > Constituent
  2. Select All Addresses > Zip
    1. Operation: Replace
    2. Replace: ######### (9 of them)
    3. With: #####-#### (5-4)
    4. Use Pattern Matching: marked
  3. Click OK
  4. Click Change Now

To allow users to successfully click OK past the first message and avoid the error when the user does not have Supervisor Rights, ensure that the selected group has rights to add and edit the necessary field in Admin > Security.
