Error: The finder number was not found

When entering payments using finder numbers the system is not finding the associated record.  The finder file and marketing effort have been created correctly.  The finder number being entered is in the correct range of numbers used in the marketing effort.

  1. In Marketing Efforts, Finder Files
  2. Go to the File layouts tab
  3. Highlight the finder file used and check the Field list
  4. The fields may not be mapped correctly

Example: FIRSTNAME must be mapped to the first name field and not the name field.  The name field is used for the full name and should not be mapped.

Download and install the latest patch, which contains all fixes from previous patches. If you are running an older version, download and install the latest version and then the patch.
