An organization has reversed a transaction that was made in the Blackbaud Sphere database. Sometimes, the organization needs to reverse the transaction because it was a duplicate, correction, etc. When the reversal is completed, the organization would like to send a confirmation of the refund to the donor. This solution outlines how to send a confirmation to a donor when a reversal has been made.
Currently, there is no confirmation email for reversed transactions. As a workaround you can go into the Contact record through Contacts > Individuals, go to the Interactions tab and the Activities sub-tab and send a screen shot of the reversal to the donor.
