How to split a donation between two participants or teams

A donor made a donation towards a participant or a team of a Friends Asking Friends event.  The donor would like to split the donation to credit another participant or another team.  This will allow the donor to give to two participants or teams instead of one.  This solution lays out the steps to divide the donation.
Currently, this is not a feature for online transactions (i.e. credit card, ACH, paypal, etc). For offline donation (i.e. cash or check), you can edit the transaction amount and then enter a second transaction.

1. Navigate to Communities > Special Events > Friends Asking Friends > Kintera Thon >
2. Hover over the event name > Click Bookkeeping > Manage Initiative Records
3. Mark the radio button for Donors > Search for the donor's name
4. Click Edit > Change the amount > Click Save

Now enter another offline donation for the other half of the donation.

1. Navigate to Communities > Special Events > Friends Asking Friends > Kintera Thon >
2. Hover over the event name > Click Bookkeeping >
3. Click Gift Entry
4. Fill out the rest of the donor information
