1. Open Microsoft SQL Management Studio
2. Log into your database
3. Expand Databases >> System Databases >> msdb >> Security >> Roles >> Database Roles
4. Find 'BBAPPFXJOBUSERROLE'
- If this role does not exist is can be created with the bbappfx configuration utility or with the following code run on the msdb database
CREATE ROLE [BBAPPFXJOBUSERROLE] AUTHORIZATION [dbo];
EXEC sp_addrolemember N'BBAPPFXJOBUSERROLE', N'[Domain]\[UserName];  /* NT AUTHORITY\NETWORK SERVICE */
5. Grant the following selects and executes to the role:
GRANT SELECT ON [dbo].[sysjobs] TO [BBAPPFXJOBUSERROLE];
GRANT SELECT ON [dbo].[sysjobsteps] TO [BBAPPFXJOBUSERROLE];
GRANT SELECT ON [dbo].[sysjobschedules] TO [BBAPPFXJOBUSERROLE];
GRANT SELECT ON [dbo].[syscategories] TO [BBAPPFXJOBUSERROLE];
GRANT SELECT ON [dbo].[sysschedules] TO [BBAPPFXJOBUSERROLE];
GRANT SELECT ON [dbo].[sysproxies] TO [BBAPPFXJOBUSERROLE];
GRANT EXECUTE ON [dbo].[sp_add_jobstep] TO [BBAPPFXJOBUSERROLE];
GRANT EXECUTE ON [dbo].[sp_add_jobschedule] TO [BBAPPFXJOBUSERROLE];
GRANT EXECUTE ON [dbo].[sp_delete_job] TO [BBAPPFXJOBUSERROLE];
GRANT EXECUTE ON [dbo].[sp_update_job] TO [BBAPPFXJOBUSERROLE];
GRANT EXECUTE ON [dbo].[sp_add_jobserver] TO [BBAPPFXJOBUSERROLE];
GRANT EXECUTE ON [dbo].[sp_add_category] TO [BBAPPFXJOBUSERROLE];
GRANT EXECUTE ON [dbo].[sp_add_job] TO [BBAPPFXJOBUSERROLE];
GRANT EXECUTE ON [dbo].[sp_update_schedule] TO [BBAPPFXJOBUSERROLE];
GRANT EXECUTE ON [dbo].[sp_update_jobstep] TO [BBAPPFXJOBUSERROLE];
6. Grant proxy rights to the role
EXEC dbo.sp_grant_login_to_proxy @msdb_role = 'BBAPPFXJOBUSERROLE', @proxy_name =  'Blackbaud ActiveX Proxy - BBDM_BBNC';
7. Add the proxy to the ActiveScripting subsystem
EXEC dbo.sp_grant_proxy_to_subsystem @proxy_name =  'Blackbaud ActiveX Proxy - DatabaseName', @subsystem_name = 'ActiveScripting';
