This error may occur if the entered information does not match Blackbaud's records when installing services and generating system keys. When setting up these services, ensure that the following steps are being followed:
  • Log into The Raiser's Edge as a user with supervisor rights or the Supervisor user name.
  • Ensure the email used is for a listed site administrator at Blackbaud.com.
  • If you have Raiser's Edge and Blackbaud NetCommunity installed in Blackbaud Hosting, log into the full Raiser's Edge and not the RE-BBNC plug-in.

If the error persists after verifying these steps, please contact Support and reference this article. Please have the following information handy:
  • The serial number from your RE database. This can be found by going to Help > About The Raiser's Edge from the Raiser's Edge toolbar. 
  • The email(s) used in the signup.
