This error may occur if the entered information does not match Blackbaud's records when installing services and generating system keys. When setting up these services, ensure that the following steps are being followed:
  • Log into The Raiser's Edge as a user with the Supervisor user name
  • Ensure the email used in the Customer Information window is linked to an active Raiser's Edge user on Blackbaud.com.
  • If you have The Raiser's Edge and Blackbaud NetCommunity installed in Blackbaud Hosting Services, log into the The Raiser's Edge and not the The Raiser's Edge - BBNC Plugin
  • Test with another email account if possible
  • Test on another workstation if possible
