When a custom email alert is created and the send process competes successfully, the process history shows that records were processed. However, the users listed as part of the alert instance do not receive an email.
1. Go to Administration > Email Alerts > Tasks > Edit alert settings. 2. Ensure that the SQL Server Database Mail Profile is correct. 3. Ensure that this account is a member of the databsemailuser role in the MSDB database.
