Links in Friends-Asking-Friends Thon Event intermittently redirect supporters to incorrect pages

Supporters are experiencing difficulty navigating through an FAF Thon event due to links intermittently redirecting to incorrect pages. The issue appears to be affecting, but not limited to, the following areas:
  • Links within Personal HQ such as Build/Edit my Webpage, Send Emails to Friends and Family, Enter Offline Donations, Edit my Profile
  • Links to participant donation pages
Visitors may be directed to a generic blackbaud.com page or to the main page of the event.
In this past this issue has occurred when a custom Social Networking toolbar has been added to the Participant pages. If there is any custom coding applied to this area, such as code from ShareThis or AddThis, please remove to see if the error persists.

This may also be caused by specific settings in the participant's environment. Please also suggest that the participant try the following:
  • Clear the browser's cache and login again.
    • In Internet Explorer, this can be done through Tools > Internet Options. Under Browsing History, click Delete. Next, delete your Temporary Internet Files and Cookies.
  • Try using a different browser, if available.
  • Restart computer and try again.
