You may see duplicate records in your query results simply because query is a grouping tool rather than a reporting tool.  Altru uses your query filters to pull out all records that meet all the criteria you defined, then it uses the output fields you chose to present the information you want to see.  If one of those output fields is a one-to-many field, meaning there may be one possible answer or there may be many possible answers, Altru will output all possibilities as separate rows in your query results.  For example, if you've set up your query to pull all revenue from today and you output Application Type, for any revenue that has multiple applications, you will see that revenue listed multiple times in the results, once for every application on record.

Rest assured, this is expected in query.  To use this query as a report or list, it's best to pull it into an export:
  1. Create an export definition and select the fields you would like to output.  If you have a one-to-many field and want to output more than one possible result, they will be listed as additional columns in the export rather than as additional rows like in query.
    1. From Administration, Select Export Definition > Add
      • Note: The source view of your export definition, must match the source view of your query.
    2. Select the fields that you would like to see in the output of your export definition and move to Selected Fields
    • Note: If you would like to see multiple fields about the output, we will enter this in Number to export
