Error: An error has occurred in the application when logging in to NetClassroom

When attempting to log in to NetClassroom, you receive the error: An error has occurred in the application. You can do one of the following: Click the "Back" button on the browser window and once the page loads, click the "Refresh" button, click the "Close" button to close the application, click the "Start Over" button to close your current session and login again.
Download and install the latest cumulative patch. If running an older version, download and install both the latest version and cumulative patch. Only the latest version of the software, which includes all fixes from previous patches, is available for download.

Alternative solution: 
In Configuration, NetClassroom, Customize, under the Additional links section, populate text in the Text field for each link listed.
