Since Blackbaud Sphere is a hosted product (meaning it runs entirely through a web-based platform), there can be times when it runs more slowly than normal. This all depends on server traffic at the time you are accessing Sphere. Also, there are times where our engineers have to schedule maintenance for the product or the servers, though this is usually done in the early morning hours to avoid interrupting use of the site.
You may also experience slowness and other issues when accessing Sphere through incompatible web browsers. At this time, the only browsers that we support are Internet Explorer 7 and 8. If you are accessing Sphere using another Internet browser, we recommend that you go through Internet Explorer instead for the best possible performance.
