In order to resolve, please update your Blackbaud Sphere credentials in The Raiser's Edge.
  1. Log into The Raiser's Edge
  2. Click the Sphere plug-in button
  3. Click Scheduler link
  4. Navigate to Configuration>Sphere Connection
  5. Enter credentials
  6. Click Finish
  7. Close The Raiser's Edge and then re-open it in order to initiate a sync
Administrator passwords for Blackbaud Sphere expire every 90 days.  To prevent this error from reoccurring, we recommend you create a dedicated user account for the Sphere Connector.  As long as you do not use this account to log into Blackbaud Sphere, the expiration rule does not apply.

  1. Login to Blackbaud Sphere using a username that has Administrator rights.
  2. Go to Control > Administration > Organization Setup > Manage Users .
  3. Click New.
  4. Complete the profile information for the new username.
  5. A password reset will be triggered to the email address you entered. Reset the password but do not log in to Blackbaud Sphere.
  6. Update the username and password in the RE Connector.
