When submitting a credit card gift batch to processor, we see the authorization code of "888888" populate. The authorization code of "888888" does not mean that the credit cards were fully processed. The merchant account was likely in test or demo mode or possibly marked inactive.
Follow these steps: 1. Go to Configuration, Business Rules, Merchant Accounts 2. Open the Merchant Account that was selected for credit card processing 3. Ensure the box for "Inactive" is not check marked 4. Click on the drop down box for Process mode and select Live 5. Return to the Batch and follow these steps to process credit card gifts with rejection codes
