If the affected custom report was not built by Blackbaud, please complete the following steps until the issue is resolved:
  1. Recreate the .mdb database file that report is linked to and re-map the report as needed before running it again.
     
  2. Run the report for a different group of records than the group included when the hanging occurs.
    • If the hanging occurs with a different group of records included, recreate both the report and the .mdb from scratch.
    • If the hanging does not occur with a different group of records included, there maybe something amiss about the specific group affecting the report and that group may have to be broken up into smaller blocks to complete the report.
       
  3. If the issue persists after following the above steps please Click Chat with Support and reference this article.

    • If the hanging occurs with a different group of records included, attempt to duplicate this issue on another custom report with the same group of records.
    • If the hanging does not occur with a different group of records included, there maybe something amiss about the specific group affecting the report and that group may have to be broken up into smaller blocks to complete the report.
       
  2. If the hanging occurs with multiple reports (other than the main affected report) or if breaking up the records included in the report into smaller groups does not resolve the issue, please Contact Support and reference this article.
