When importing records to ResearchPoint from a .csv file, you may receive the following error:

ID for simple data list label <'state abbreviation'> for batch instance field for state was not found, you may wish to review your settings for simple data list on the options tab of your import process.

Please follow the steps below in order until the file imports successfully.

Ensure that the Search List option is set to Quick Find on the Options tab of the import process
If the state is in Long Description form in the import file, change it to the abbreviated version (example: change Illinois to IL)
