Error: An unknown error occurred during the request. - when searching for available payments to link to a deposit

When searching for available payments to link to a deposit, users may receive the error: "Error: An unknown error occurred during the request.  This could indicate a request to an invalid endpoint or a problem with the web server configuration."

In 2.93, we provide a new feature to make linking payments to deposits easier. It is a business process to “Create deposits” on a one-off or scheduled basis.  The process collects unlinked payments and creates deposits based on various criteria.  For example, if a user wants all Visa credit card payments to be in one deposit and all cash payments to be in another deposit, they can just set up the template/process based on that filter.

Since this is a business process, users can let it run in the background without timeouts.

More information is in the guide in the “Create Deposits Process" section: https://www.blackbaud.com/files/support/guides/enterprise/treasury.pdf
