Highlight the element and look at the bottom of the editor. You will find all HTML tags that are applied to that element. If you see many tags of the same type, these are likely working against one another to define the content.
You can click on these tags and choose Delete tag, or you can use the Clean Up HTML option. If you are unsure about whether deleting a tag will impact the document negatively, please Chat with Support and reference this article. .
NOTE: Always save your document prior to deleting tags. If deleting a tag causes any issues, close the editor without saving to revert to before the change.
You can also switch into HTML view and copy all of the text into a notepad to allow you to revert back to that point if you need to undo any changes.
