Some examples of what would cause transactions to duplicate in the Raiser's Edge are:

  1. Your connection is disconnected while processing a batch; your batch may remain in an unprocessed state though the transactions were committed. Please check your transactions before committing the batch again, as you may be duplicating them. To confirm a duplicate transaction: note the Sphere identifier in the attributes tab match that of another transaction identically
  2. You edit an offline transaction in Sphere to have a different payment amount
