System freezes when attempting to edit the selection associated with an acknowledgement letter

When processing revenue acknowledgements, the first step is to create and assign letters to the revenue to be acknolwedged.  Letters may be configured to look at only a specific selection of revenue, so that regardless of the assign letter process run, only that revenue can potentially be assigned a specific letter.  However, when attempting to edit a selection assigned to a specific letter, users may see the edit form freeze, appear multiple times, or cause CRM to close.

Download and install the latest version and patch, if applicable.
