The following steps outline how to tie a membership to a registration type, on a Registration Form, in Sphere:
  1. Navigate to Communities > Forms > Registration
  2. Hover over your form's name and click Website Info
  3. Click on Registration Form Options
  4. In the first page of options you will find a list of all registration types.  Each registration type will have a Memberships link.  Click this link
  5. Check the box for each membership option you want to make available for that registration type
  6. Above the membership check boxes you will find the option to establish your registrant's ability to select the memberships

    a. "No option for the recipient to customize their benefits package and benefits will not be displayed"
    - This automatically applies the checked memberships to the registrant's contact record. They will not see the benefits that they receive.
    b. "No option for the recipient to customize their benefits package"
    - This automatically applies the checked memberships to the registrant's contact record.
    c. "Allow selection with check boxes"
    - This allows the registrant to pick and choose their memberships. The registrant does not have to pick a membership.
    d. "Forces selection with radio buttons"
    - This allows the registrant to select one membership. The registrant must pick a membership.
    e. "Forces selection with dropdown menus"
    - This allows the registrant to select one membership. The registrant must pick a membership.
     
  7. Click Save to preserve the membership options
  8. Repeat as necessary for all registration types which should have membership options
