This is usually caused by the Mobile App not being enabled on a Friends Asking Friends event.  The app is available for download by anyone through the Google Play or iPhone app store, however the event has to have this feature enabled on it before participants will have access to the features of it.

To enable the Mobile App:
1. Go to Communities > Special Events > Friends Asking Friends > Kintera Thon
2. Hover over your event and click Website Info
3. Click Website Features
4. Scroll down to "Mobile App" and mark the checkbox next to it
5. Click Save
6. Go back to the Webinfo Checklist and click Publish This Event Now


Also, the event's End Date must be within three months of the current date in order for the event to be pulled into the mobile app.  When you enable the event in Sphere there will be a delay before you can access it in the app. This delay is typically between 24 and 48 hours.

To update the event's End Date:
  1. Go to Communities > Special Events > Friends Asking Friends > Kintera Thon
  2. Hover over your event name and select Website Info
  3. Click on the Event Information link
  4. Change the End Date to reflect a date within three months of the current date
  5. Click Save and Update your event
    (Please allow 24 hours for your event to pull into the mobile app.)
NOTE:  The Fundraise with Friends mobile app will only pull the event into the app 3 months past the End Date, unless the particpant has previously logged into the app.
