This error message is in reference to the postal code in the donor's address. The message does not indicate that the address does not match the billing address of the credit card, but rather that the postal code format is incorrect.

When a transaction is processed in Batch, The Raiser's Edge automatically includes the preferred address on the Bio 1 tab of the donor's constituent record because there are no address fields in a Gift Batch.  The preferred address does not have to match the billing address for the card, but must be a valid address.

This error may occur if a US address does not have at least five digits in the zip code.

To resolve this issue, open the constituent's record and verify that the postal code is in correct format for the preferred country on Bio 1 tab.
If the donor's constituent record has a foreign address, verify that the foreign country has been configured correctly in Config > International .
